ATTENTION

Regarding Parking Violations VIOLATION

  • Do Not Park Illegally!

Illegal parking not only causes significant traffic obstruction but can also lead to accidents.

  • Parking Violations Are Subject to Enforcement Even for Short Periods of Time

In addition to police officers and traffic patrol officers, private "parking enforcement officers" will check for abandoned vehicles and attach violation notices. Vehicles found in violation will receive a "abandoned vehicle confirmation tag" regardless of how long the vehicle was parked.

    • Be careful in these situations: Shopping at convenience stores, loading/unloading luggage, dining

If you receive a parking violation, please follow the procedures below:

  • If a Parking Violation Tag is Attached

Please complete the following procedures before returning the vehicle:

    1. Report to the police station indicated on the confirmation tag and complete the required procedures.
    2. Please ensure the fine is paid in full.
    • You must present the traffic violation notice, payment slip, and receipt when returning the rental car.
  • If Payment Cannot Be Confirmed at Return

We will charge the following amount (parking violation fee) per violation:
    25,000 yen

    1. Report to the police station indicated on the confirmation tag and complete the required procedures.
    2. Please ensure the fine is paid in full.
    • You must present the traffic violation notice, payment slip, and receipt when returning the rental car.
    • Once you complete the police report and fine is paid in full, you can get your refund (full amount we received) by presenting the payment slip and receipt through the prescribed method. (Bank transfer fees, etc., will be borne by the customer.)
    • If you fail to resolve the violation and make the required payment, we will provide your personal information to the police and take necessary measures to pursue responsibility for the abandoned parking violation. In addition, we may report this to the Japan Rental Car Association, which may result in denial of future rental car services from member companies of the association.

Mandatory Use of Safety Equipment SAFETY

  • Required Use of Rear Seat Belts

Rear seat belt use is mandatory!

Many people mistakenly believe that seat belts are only mandatory on highways.

Since June 2008, seat belts are required in all seats including the rear seats, whether driving on highways or local roads. Not wearing a seat belt is a violation. It is mandatory for all passengers.

Our store implements a "Rear Seat Belt Use Promotion Campaign." When departing, we will confirm that passengers in the rear seats are wearing seat belts before guiding your departure, so we ask for your cooperation.

  • Required Use of Child Seat

If you are traveling with children under 6 years old, you must bring a child seat.

By road traffic law, drivers are required to use child safety seats when carrying children under 6 years old. This requirement also applies when using rental cars.

If you are traveling with a child under the age of six and do not have a child seat, we can provide a child seat or booster seat free of charge. Please note that the number of seats is limited, so be sure to select this option when making your reservation if needed.
